i just got my allegheny today. The first couple times I got it to work steam great whistle steam great. Now it only flickers. I just have conventional power.
When I put other locos on track they go.

I am actually only half hour from Saginaw but now I got it to work. I turned odyssey to off. When it's off it works but on it flickers. Is this an odyssey problem or just a quirk because I'm conventionally operating? Excuse my ignorance.
When I had first tried it odyssey was off but then manual said to have it on was strongly advised.
I ran it with odyssey off no problems and now put it back on and it works fine. Weird. But helps to lower my blood pressure
