Hi DGL, I have the same locomotive. I am away for the holidays at the moment so I can't take a photo for you of the inside.
However your photos don't match with what I would expect to see in a Lionmaster Big Boy. The motor in your photo is mounted horizontalty when normaly they are vertical and there are two of them. The R4LC Legacy radio board is missing from the mother board at the front (right hand side of second photo).
Ether the model number is incorrect and we are looking at a scale Big Boy or someone has ripped the guts out of that loco and replaced bits! It looks like a TMCC not Legacy as the motor driver board does not look correct.
I have a couple of pics on my iPad of a Legacy Lionmaster Challenger I restored, the layout of components is very similar on the Lionmaster Big Boy

Nick awesome! I only saw a couple YouTube videos that is exactly what I have. Half the battle!! GI Joe lol
Follow the wires and find out where they're connected, we can then probably help you get it wired back up.
K update on the Bigboy. I got it running. I was missing the radio receiver part that someone in this thread pointed out. I got it, and put that part on, and powered the track, and bigboy took off LOLLLLLLLLLLL. I am missing a couple more parts, for the special effects, but it is running!!!!
