Does anyone have the most recent shiny metal Lionel Zephyr (Mark Twain, Burlington etc)? How do you like it? Can you post pics? Thanks in advance.

I have that set and it is one of my favorites. I can not post any photos right now but I can tell you the painted finish is , to me, much more apealing than the plated finish on the prior model.
I have seen the real thing in Chicago several times and I think the finish on this latest issue emulates the stainless steel quite well.
It is just a great model and wants to be run fast, that is when it is at its best.

I have the original 4 car MTH proto 1 Zephyr from around 2001. It is a good runner made better with a BCR but with matte gray paint. I saw the real thing in Chicago and really like the shiny finish.
