Okay last week I posted about a problem with the front truck assembly, I'm doing this for a friend by the way. The new truck assembly came from Lionel but there are 2 capacitors on top of the motor, notice in the pictures below. Also this truck say 2 instead of 1, I'm thinking that's not a big deal but if it is please let me know. The main question is to I need to remove the capacitors? Any help is appreciated. I'll post pics of the old and new truck assemblies.

The one on top is the old one. I have all the wires soldered back on just not sure about those capacitors.

The number of this locomotive is 6-18216.

The 1 and 2 on the brush plate is the mold cavity they came out of.

Leave the capacitors on .
