RECENTLY RAN UNIT ON TEST TRACK, UNIT LOST CONTACT WITH TRACK, WITH POWER REAPPLIED, NOW HAVE NO SOUND, LIGHTS, SMOKE, MOTION ALL WORK. TRIED TO TROUBLESHOOT AS SHOWN ON FORUM, BUT NO RESULTS. READ WHERE SOUND BOARD CAN BE RETURNED TO LIONEL FOR REPLACEMENT, IS THIS TRUE, AND IF SO, HOW IS IT REMOVED. ANYONE HAVE ANY ADDITIONAL IDEAS, I WOULD APPRECIATE IT.

I’d try removing and reseating the boards on the pins first, before moving on…
