I have a Lionel chief plus engine 6-81296 Great Northern that needs the board replace the old one burned up. Lionel says they no longer carry that board. Can anyone help?

Probably easiest to use the Universal Remote which will work with any LionChief/LC+ board. Available for around $40 street price.
As stated, use the Universal Remote. That way you are covered. You could also buy the remote for $22 and swap the shell from the dead board remote so it matches the road name.
