. I wouldn't be surprised if these sorts of items become very desirable amongst collectors eventually due to their unique nature. Time will tell.
I’m very interested in the #2024. Would look great pulling my Lionel Lines aluminum passenger cars. I usually run them with my Red 777 Commodore Vanderbilt but here they are with a custom cab-forward.
These look cool, as does the Lionel store exclusive Polar Express with the Plasma coat (which I guess will be similar to that Dreyfuss). My only problem here is having to pay actual MSRP as opposed to the dealer knockdown which I usually rely on to make me feel better about my purchases.
