13Neat No.& Lionel prewar display on ebay right now. Prewar displays don't turn up as often as postwar and are generally more utilitarian. The No.7 was to display the O-27 line of trains and is one of my favorites. Top two pictures are my reproduction of the N0.7, lower pictures from this auction. As noted top is repro but a pretty good representation of the original received_1020960214550534820170121_221541116

Cool display, and great repro.  Well done!

And I love the garage!  And the car in the background ain't bad, either.

My '57 T-Bird is under a cover in a crammed two car garage along with our daily driver and almost buried under boxes of stuff.  The trains are stored in various places around the house, but mostly in a small extra bedroom.

I have a serious case on "Garage Envy!"

Cheers!

Alan

Wow, now my garage envy is going into overdrive.  My '02 Jag XJR is stashed at our vacation home, and I've got a '70 T-Bird in rented storage.  At least the Big Bird had a trunk big enough to hold some of my AF trains until I could make room at home after they had been on display in a museum.

To be honest, if I had the room in a garage, at this time in my life, I would likely fill it with more trains rather than a cool project car.

Cheers!

Alan

Alan, I'm with you, too many projects too little space.  My garage is filled to the brim with stuff.... Cars, trains, model airplanes, you name it.  All the boxes are filled with  at least one project prewar steamer or passenger car set each.  Have four such cabinet spaces like this one, then my wife's Mustang, my 63 Falcon, and the 911 back behind the falcon....  It's a two car garage with 3 cars a bunch of tool boxes, three work benches, and a lathe in it...I have to move stuff out just to get to everything....  It's a bit embarrassing...
