Lionel Live on Fox and Friends!

Lionel is very excited to announce that Lionel will be featured Live on the Fox and Friends show on Monday morning, December 16th. We are estimating an air time of 7:30AM EST and hope to have multiple segments. Howard Hitchcock, Senior VP/General Manager, will be representing Lionel on the show and presenting new products such as the LionChief™ remote system, LCS, and Battle Trains. We are also planning to present the new line of Christmas ornaments and home décor offered by Lionel.

Special Thanks goes to Tom Nuzzo for his help and coordination of the NYC display that will be featured during the show.

This is a great opportunity to share Lionel with a large National TV audience.  Be sure to tune in.

Sr. Director of Marketing – Lionel LLC

Yep I am an over-the-air-antenna station person.  (hey why waste good money on cable when there are more important expenses like adding new engine or rolling stock).  So my local FOX does not carry  Fox and Friends (bo-hoo)

No, I don't get Fox and Friends, even though there is a local Fox affiliate.  Now, if they had waited until next weekend I might be able to see the segment because Time-Warner Cable cut me a deal today that I couldn't turn down.  Includes an Internet and Wi-Fi upgrade and basic cable TV, with free installation.  The installer will be here next Friday between 11 a.m. and noon (or so I've been told).

It does, but that's no problem.  I can always go back to my 10-or-so channel antenna world with no problem.  Have done it before and can certainly do it again.  My main interest is in the high-speed Internet connection, which, for the most part, has worked well for me.  The basic TV package is only costing me $9 a month more for that year.

Great news, I will be watching.  I am a fan of Fox & Friends during their close out

to a commercial they show a three rail train going around the Christmas Tree.  In

recent years they have shown three rail under the tree.

I believe someone on the staff is into three rail.  Good for Lionel and the hobby.

Many thanks,

Good luck with that! Just had some friends wait 8 hours only to be told they were too busy and would be out in two days! Originally Posted by Allan Miller:

Not a problem!  I'm a patient man.  I'll be home at the appointed time, and will remain there for an hour or so after noon (supposed to be scheduled for between 11 and noon).  If the fellow doesn't show up or contact me in that time period, I'll head back to the office.

But, all my neighbors here have had good experiences with the cable service, and I also have had good service from them.  I'm not the least bit worried about it one way or the other.

Well I just saw it. They could of done a better job promoting the trains. Talked about the App and Lionel Chief,  but really did not explain it well. It left me with more questions then answers. As a potential buyer it was not helpful. As a note I am seeing alot of feed back on the PE set and its not good. Alot of issues from not running to stop running after an hour of use, and quality control issues.

I'm just sayin' that we are pretty lucky to have any manufacturer/ importer have any national exposure at all.  It may not be perfect but they are at least getting something out there to let them know there are still trains for around a tree.

I'm not so sure than much beyond this group is being that critical of the segment and reading too much into it.

It was a nice little segment that showed the trains to the masses. Now they can go to the Lionel website or find a dealer to give them a full sales pitch or answer any questions. You can't expecet the I-Pad control to be explained in under five minutes.(I'm still trying to figure it out since they announced it!)

Caught the segment on the fly this morning. Great exposure for the toy train hobby using a visually very appealing layout for TV with a Grand Central Terminal placed front and center. The cinema vérité with a mild train collision added to the charm of it all. Fun in the spirit of the Season.

One thing that Lionel could improve upon is building a quieter display layout so that the folk do not have shout over the din (This gets mentioned every year on the air during these spots). Fastrack is very 'noisy' but can be made to be quiet.

Merry, merry!
