I have two complete Victorian house kits. I opened one up and thought with all these parts I could nearly build three different buildings. I've seen and example of stealing entire walls to make something else. I'm wondering more about separating the walls into their individual floors. I think these are ABS? And what would be the best and cleanest way to cut them?

I would try score and snap or a razor saw. If using score and snap put a good deep score on the front and a lessor one on the back. Then clean up the edges with an 8" or 10" flat mill file. If a razor saw put a light score to guide the saw.

Tim,
The IHC/Lionel Victorian houses are pretty versatile kits. If you assemble them straight out of the box, they take up quite a bit of room. There are a bunch of ways you can use the four walls in order to create different buildings. I needed some 1-3" false fronts, so I used the backs and fronts with 1" of side walls to make 5 different false fronts and 5 different false rears. You can of course also just shorten the side walls to make a complete house with a smaller footprint. I agree with George in the above reply that scoring and snapping is the way to go if you want to shorten the side walls.

Nice job, Price!

Yes, I agree; score & snap. I might be obsessive, but I generally score 7 or 8+ times depending on the thickness of the plastic.
