Enclosed is the pic of one of the  shell kits i come across.

A day or two ago i knew absolutely nothing about it.

What I believe is that this is a Lobough brand made kit. it is a brass/bronze cast model. It requires a lot of contruction. Some parts are marked A & S. when i researched to a cast co. in Texas.

i have boxes of parts that have mixed heavy cast parts of which many are not to this model because they are steam style.

Spoke to bobdesiel, he as recommended through another thread. He did not carry/handle the non steam type. i enclosed a pic of what i believe to be the kit. the dealer long ago gone, had these bagged together with the only marking of alco.

Any help to figure this out would be appreciated.

Bob you have great skills. if many of your pieces started out as these kits you have unbelievable skills and a steady hand. The machining alone is remarkable. The deal about pics is frustrating at best. If you sell on line say ebay you will find all your pictures everywhere. I understand you sign your rights away on everything, but over the years when listing  and  you see others using your pics it is frustrating. (with my eyesight mine aren't always the best) but they are out there. i will try to go to two rail and see. Thanks again.

Also, that link?  Almost all of those locomotives and quite a few of the cars are from my photos, without any attribution.  I don't mind folks using my photos, but it would be nice of them to say where they got them.  The AC-4 is scratchbuilt, 17/64, not Lobaugh.

Bob2, I’m not trying to start trouble here but it looks like that link is TCA related. Don’t you grant certain permissions or freedoms when you provided the pics for publication? Seems the issue would be with the TCA , that they didn’t grant permission. Maybe someone with knowledge in this area could comment. It would be good to know for future reference so that legal issues could be avoided.

Steve - the moderators of this forum have provided a great tutorial on photo copyright.  I am not about to go enforce a copyright - I am happy to have others see my work.  If they had asked, I would have happily said "yes".  Like Harold Vollrath and many others, I want some credit.

Harold just wanted photo credit.  He got it; you will see his name in countless locomotive books.

i want credit this way: "Model and photo by Bob Turner."  That is not a lot to ask.

If I post a photo on OGR, it can be re-used if the user repeats those six words - except I would rather not see my photos endlessly repeated with that mindless "reply with quote" button.

If my photos are reproduced without credit, I regard that as copyright infringement, and I reserve the right to grumble about it.
