Near Erie. Click on the lefthand pointing arrow at the top left next to where it says Fairview. That will take you back to the street view.
I wonder if that was one of the engines that hit the rock slide in NH the day? It sure looks like it's been on it's side, can't tell much about front end damage from that shot, but great catch Tommie, keep up the good work!..................Brandy!
Big Train,
Thanks for the tip! Near Erie, makes sense. There are several Fairviews in Pennsylvania, one near me north of Butler, but I knew that wasn't it.

Sorry but no! IT's an MTA loco- Metropolitain Transportation Authority- of NYC area. I be that's a P40 not a P42 that Amtrak was selling to NJ transit and MTA.
Here is the one from the crash.....
Nice find on google Maps though.
Wow - thanks for that!
That's an incredible chance find. Not far from the Erie Works, so I looked over there to revisit the GE loco factory. Of course you can't do street views inside the facility, but I remember repeated visits there 30+ years ago.
I think it's the one from the Metro-North crash at Spuyten Duyvil in NYC in late November/early December 2013. On the way for repairs.

Good catch, Tom.
That's really neat.
That is definitely a good find.
Thanks
(one year ago) Almost 4 months after the Metro North derailment at Spuyten Duyvil, the locomotive pushing the train that day, P32AC-DM #225 was finally released from investigation ...
