"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

Post your non-O scale stuff here!

I just finished my first sort of a box of old Marklin track. This track has a sheet metal base, and a solid center rail (instead of contact studs). It looks like it takes twelve sections of curved track to make a circle.  In addition to the usual straights and curves, I also have some switches in various states of repair, and some shorter sections of track.
Most of the track is fairly clean. It was all well used. A few pieces have scenery stuck to the base, or has rust on the base. The rails would certainly require cleaning for the track to be used.

I picked up this box of track many years ago. At the time, I was told it was from the 1950's.
Can anybody tell me anything more about this track?
Does it have any value?

I am trying to figure out what to do with the track. I do have one Marklin engine, with no cars.
Do I keep it, sell it, or just throw it away?
