what would you pay for this Marx tender?? Ive paid upwards of $25 and even had a friend give me one for
free because I had purchased a bunch of other cars from him. I see this one listed on a auction web site for $99.

99 cents, that's all it would be worth to me.
It's possible he typed it wrong and meant 99 cents.

I would and have paid free with another item. Never saw one in black/grey worth 99.00
How much are they asking for the couplers that go on it?

Internet auctions (and live auctions) are often butterfly flights in fantasyland where people with no clue what it is worth sell to those with too much disposable income.
Wow, suddenly I feel rich....... this is how it starts. "Those old trains, I'm tellin' ya, they're worth big bucks!"
I am going to get those trains out of the attic and get rich.....
I guess you can ask whatever you want. Selling it is a different story.
Got some deals from this great lady having fun selling her husbands trains. He had his fun collecting now her turn selling. Lots of Marx and she said she had a lot more
franktrain.
