Hello all.
Had a question for all the guys that do their own painting, decals, detailing and restorations.
I am in the process of repainting and decaling some S scale coal hoppers I have. Someone mentioned at a show that he media or bead blast his cars and locomotives to strip them for a repaint.
What's your thoughts on this?

Forgot to mention, these are plastic cars we are talking about. I'm told with the right media and blaster that it will not destroy the details casted into the plastic bodies.
best way to go. use 220 grit aluminum red oxide at 60 lbs.

Any certain type of gun or nozzles you'd recommend Bob?
I see Eastwood sells a little kit, but not sure of the tips or nozzles or if it even matters.
