Having just popped for $180 rolling stock and power plant, is the 11% rebate going on or am I out of luck?

Please remember that the "rebates" at Menards is only good at Menards. Thus, one must return and "spend more money" at Menards in order to obtain your "rebate". Plus, Menards does NOT give military veterans any discount, unlike many, many other retailers.
This latest one ended 10/31/15

Well that's OK as I am only a few miles from either local Menards store. I have used their other rebates when buying Menards merchandise. So not like I am 500 miles from them and rebate is useless.
Sorry that Menards does not have military discounts.
The 11% rebate has pretty frequent, something like every 4 to 6 weeks, and lasting for a week or two each time. I always see the ads on TV during sporting events. I'm pretty sure Lee was correct about the last one ending on the 31st.
I just sent my form in yesterday. I don't buy the train stuff, but I used my previous check to buy some cat5 wire for the layout and other stuff for the house. Now I'll get another check. Clever racket.
I purchase most of my hardware type stuff at Menards usually during their 11% rebate weeks. I keep a list of stuff needed then hit the store for the 11% rebates, great during spring yard work and painting time plus the train stuff. Menards prices are competitive with Lowes and HD so the rebates are a bonus. Heading over to Menards this morning for some hunting gear that is on sale plus their weekly instore rebate stuff and check out the Christmas decorations. Usually through the year I will accumulate a couple hundred in rebate bucks that is reserved for train stuff.

Here's a link I stumbled upon while looking if a current Menards rebate is running.
What I don't like is the rebates are printed on a postcard. Some of mine in the past have never showed up. Now I'm not accusing anybody at the USPS of stealing so perhaps they just "get lost" in the mail system?
You're in luck!! I just saw the ad on TV.
11% is on again!!
Edit: If you have already purchased those items, take your receipt into the store. They should be able to issue a new one with the coupon on it. I'm pretty sure that's how that works.

Thanks, will be in Menards so will take my receipts and see what happens.
Otherwise you can use the "week before" alternate rebate form that you posted the link for. They've gone kind of crazy with the 11%. On a week, off a week, then back on again.
Good Morning,
Attached is a price adjustment form for the current 11% rebate sale. Please note only items purchased 1 week prior to the current sale (11/01/15 thru 11/07/15) will be honored.
Thank you,

A postal employee would be pretty darn stupid to risk their job over a rebate coupon.
The rebate center would be a much more likely suspect.
Thanks Mark! You saved me a trip to the store. Very happy with all the new products. We have the Sauerkraut Factory on order and hoping to spot the burned out shed at the store soon. Keep the military and space items coming! Thanks again,
Daryl

Oh I'm sure that they're all upstanding citizens....Where'd that saying about Going Postal originate from??

Mark,
I am confused here. Your attached rebate says: "Offer valid November 8th to 14th", and further down reads "Purchase must have been made from Nov 1st to 7th".
However you state above: "Only items purchased prior to Nov 1st to 7th will be honored".
Please clarify which it is. I have cars purchased Oct 30th and power station Nov 6th. So it looks like only the power station will qualify with rebate #2000 certificate, unless you can send rebate form for previous week (assuming there was an 11% rebate going then).
Thanks

rrman,
The document I attached earlier was an "11% price adjustment form." I will do my best to explain.
1. Offer (11% price adjustment) valid November 8-14. You may only get a price adjustment this week since we have an 11% rebate sale in progress from 11/8-11/14. After that, we cannot grant a price adjustment since the sale will not be going on.
2. Only items purchased prior to Nov 1st to 7th will be honored. These dates include theweek before our current 11% sale. If you purchased during these dates you can fill out and return the 11% adjustment form to receive your rebate. The price adjustment is only for the week prior to the 11% rebate sale.
3. The cars you purchased on October 30th would have been during the last 11% sale. You would fill out the rebate form as normal for an 11% rebate sale. Here is a link to our rebate center if you are missing the rebate form (rebate #3475).
4. You are correct, the Power and Light building will use rebate adjustment form #2000.
I hope that helps!

Jim,
All you need is the purchase receipt and the adjustment form I posted earlier.

Hi Mark again,
I clicked on your rebate center document and found rebate #3475 for week 10/25-10/31/15, and rebate #3535 for week 11/8-11/14/15. Are these valid ones to use for my 10/30 amd 11/6 purchases?
Since I have to send in the originals no copies, once they are gone, there is no getting them back if I screwed up or mis-understood your instructions.
Sorry for being dense about rebates.

rrman,
No problem at all!
10/30 purchase: Use #3475
11/6 purchase: Use price adjustment form attached (#2000)
Anything else you may purchase during the current 11% sale (before 11/14): Use #3535

Thank you Mark, sending forms and receipts in today.
OK I like Menards but why does the rebate deal need all these different receipts? Can't it be fixed so that one size fits all? I mean everything is already dated. Why such a silly system?

Go to the customer service area in Menards, there are probably 50 to 100 different rebates in process at any one time. Last week I picked up 5 rebate authorizations for product that I had purchased in the store that day, amounted to $35 in rebates.
Bill T.
That's what I mean why so many different ones. A rebate is a rebate. One form, send in the receipts.
HEADS UP!
Be aware a Rebate# xxxx (save 11%) form goes to PO Box 155, and a Rebate #yyyy (11% Price Adjustment) form goes to PO Box 178.
Not sure what would result if both went to same PO Box, if totally discarded or just correct one processed and other round filed. Since you sent original receipts, one or both could be lost.
