This is probably not the person to ask but why is your flat with panel cars have one wheel with a silver hub cap?
Good question ?
Who makes these for Menards?
Of course, these flatcars look much better with a load that covers those big screw holes in the deck.
I'd probably glue a stained piece of wood (wooden coffee stirrers from Starbucks would do) crossways on the deck to cover the holes. It would just look a piece of planking on the deck that was there to set loads on or help hold them in place, and would improve the looks a lot, I think.
One more great find at MENARDS.....
I am going to be in Livonia, MI tomorrow, I hope they have these in stock.
The customer service counter will always help with an order.

anyone have pictures of O scale flat cars?
Like many, I think these cars are really nice and are great for the money. I also find it unfortunate how often affordable train items are criticized based on expectations for high end items. Thanks, Menards, and keep the good stuff coming.
I'm particularly pleased to see the steam-era US Army vehicles. I've been waiting for Menards to introduce vehicles of this era--great to see they're here with more coming, hopefully.
Also, there has been an evolution in the quality of Menards' offerings from the first versions having issues with trucks and couplers, to the present with much improved components. So I don't view the comments by some pointing areas where improvement is desired as putting down the product as they are useful suggestions to Menards of areas of possible improvement in their offerings. It's clear Menards is listening and acting on such comments.
The Alaska RR with Alaska RR heavy equipment are very cool. On my list for the next trip to the local Menards. Picked up this one last week.

Golden Wheel Die Cast of Hong Kong has manufactured the Menards freight cars in the past.

E-UNIT-79,
Tom's method is correct. it may be one click easier to find by visiting www.menards.com and searching "trains" or "train stuff" but you will get there both ways.
Here's a direct link to our train stuff page.

Hi Mark,
Great work on the O gauge stuff; please carry on!
Does Menards have any future plans for more period vehicles to go on those flat-cars? (Like those Army ambulances above)
A flatbed Ford or a period fire-truck or two would sure look good. Maybe even an early steam or gas farm tractor? Now that would get some attention in the Midwest!
Bob, what is the material the helicopter is made of?
