Menards Newest Releases

It looks excellent, Bob!

Nope, I didn't know what it was from the rear either!!  I may have not recognized it from the front.    Of course, I have only see one actual Menards store in my life.  The one in Warren, Ohio when I was with #1 Son Paul!!  I'm a online Menards patron.  Lowes and Home Depot have the market cornered here in Western Pennsylvania. 

Mark, Atleast you have one near you, there are none on the west coast! LOL

Mike, cracks me up everytime I see Menards addiction meetings member! As far as Menards here in the East and West coast, we are in Freebie land as opposed to 11% land in the Midwest! LOL

Bro, it works this way. When your on a small budget and you can get rolling stock for $20.00 or less its easy to become addicted! Then you see how they can become a layout like Dad's it sucks you in even more! So don't worry just because I am way over here on the left I am just like you! Addicted! LOL

Mike, you are so right.  It was just over an hour's drive to Warren, O!  That is a fairly new store and the one nearest Paul is even newer.  

Play Trains, I have never been able to figure out how to get the 11% via online ordering.  They say it can be done, but I'm too backward to figure it out!    My only issue is I am only interested in items that look plausible for a 1950s era layout.  That rules out a lot of their items.  Of course the same can be said for any manufacturer's product line.

Thank you Bob!  Yes, I was confused a while back and gave up.  I'll look at it again and let you know if I have trouble.  

Mark, the last time I went to Menards it was a 16 hour drive. The wife and I were going to see her parents and the Menards just happen to be 40 minutes past there house. Of course I had to make that drive to get me some Menards products! LOL

Bro, you're a better man than I am! I love Menards train stuff but I wouldn't drive 16 hrs to watch Blake lively wrestle a bear! LOL and I love watching bears!

Mike, That was a great diversion from visiting Mrs G's parents!!  I agree, you had to make that trip!  I'll see whether my knee recovery is up to an hour trip to the Warren MEnard's in December!!  

BTW, what are the requirements to become a Menards addiction Meeting member!  

Mark, you're already a member! Count how many times you've mentioned Menards on here in the last 24 hrs. Yeah, you're a member for sure! LOL

Not seeing the building they are talking about.  I do see what appears to be a tan MTH switchtower to the left of the watertower.  Had me excited, still hoping for a large, weathered, coal loading facility building......

Here they are guys, all but the Valvoline tankcar. Great colors for the Christmas  season I would say. Also the new Menards 2019-2020 catalog  is out ,

At least in my area- the M&M's hoppers are FLYING off the shelves.

I imagine we will see them on many Christmas layouts!?!

I'd encourage the Menards design team to consider more "candy" themes for future products!

Cookies and candy bars logos would be great on box cars.

Just read were Menard's maybe coming to Pennsylvania. There is a good chance they are going to build a store in Fayette County near Uniontown, PA.

That sounds great, Jim!!!  Warren, Ohio will still be a little closer to me, but it will be great for folks out your way and down in the southwest corner of Pennsylvania!
