Like any sane 3-Railer, as soon as Menards released the Nose-Art boxcar set, I ordered it! Additionally, I added a Long Flatcar with Deuce and a Half load.
The boxcars met my expectations and look great! (ok, a few of the individually applied numbers are not absolutely perfectly placed), but I'm very satisfied! My case said xxx/500 - I wonder, were only 500 sets made?
As for the Deuce and a Half, the actual truck frame is cracked between the cab and bed. It appears it happened due to the mounting process being slightly out of adjustment. I'm hoping Mark the Menards Train Guy sees this and can point me in a direction of remediation.
