Just wanted to post a fact, and not speculate on it.  According to Linkedln, Mike is currently seeking new opportunities.  Meaning of course, that he did not have a new job lined up when he resigned from Lionel. So, since I am rarely on the forum these days, but have been around forever, I too want to wish Mike and his family all the best.  It is possible I have known Mike longer than many of you.  We have been acquaintances since Mike was 24.  Several times, Mike wanted to hire me.  I was unofficially some help to Lionel during the days of the best CEO of Lionel ever, Dick Maddox.  Also with Bill Bracy. I was the one who introduced Jon Zahornacky to Dick Maddox, which ultimately played some part in Jon's decision to move to Lionel Later.  Also started the TMCC Demo Group, which many of you have probably never heard of.  I'll give credit to the comic book CEO who successfully guided Lionel out of bankruptcy, rather quickly, and well done.  Ten year run, longest since Cowen himself!

MIKE, ALL THE BEST TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY, your old bud Don Holdaway!

You guys could also post about Dick, as Lionel Trains would not be what it is today without Dick and also Dick's shadowing of Bill Bracy.  Dick introduced almost EVERY new STEAM ENGINE Lionel currently sells. As an example, the much talked about Legacy Big Boy was a Dick Maddox introduction, perhaps while Bill Bracy was CEO.  The PS1 boxcar, High Scale Cabooses, and so much more in true scale rolling stock were done under Dicks care.  He had a great designer working for him that REALLY knew how to make scale rolling stock.  Richard Brewster or a name close to that.  Think he may have been Australian.

P.S. hey Mike, my last Legacy engine purchase, the TRRA 0-8-0, brought out of the box for my Christmas Layout was built missing stanchions that hold the antenna/handrail in place.  Now, what do I do to get it and my once again non- battery charging Legacy based fixed?I will miss you Mike!  Hello, Talk To Us At Lionel .....  Hey I need the Niagara gears too!  First I heard about the problem!
