GREAT photo's Erik very nice !
Absolutely spectacular!
Those are award worthy shots Eric - composition , lighting, and interesting subjects. Thanks for sharing.
Those are fantastic pics!
Now I'm left wondering what those 3 blue and white trailing units are in that UP consist?
Picture #2 sure looks like tunnel 1! Used to go there to party in the '70's and 80's.
Late note, After looking a little more closely, it's not tunnel one, but another one up further west.
Awesome pics, I love the one of #175 emerging from the tunnel, great work.
Photo #2 and #9.
Powerful photos and looks like you captured some unique locomotives in the mix........either FerroMex or KCS (both are my current favorites) in photo #1 and Southern Pacific heritage unit in photo #8. Plenty remains to admire in today's railroading.
Well done!
Erik, just fabulous shots. Skill on display!

Dude, you are a Party Animal!
Back in my younger days! The landscape is such, you could lean over the tunnel portal and get a nice blast of exhaust gas when the engines are working in throttle eight up hill!
