MPC 8664 E-Unit Swap

Hi There!

i was wondering if I can easily swap out a two position e-unit with a three position e-unit in an MPC era Alco? I noticed that there are different part numbers for the motors in the Alco with a two position e-unit and the three position made the following year.

Very easy to do.

Follow the wiring for any 3 position diesel, and use only one of the two field windings on the Alco. Insulate the loose(unused) field wire.
