I’d like to use Lionel MPC era baby Madison passenger cars for repainting. I believe the letting is heat stamped, which makes removal and reuse difficult. Am I correct? Were any of them made with decals?
Early MPC was pad printed or electrocals for multi-color decoration. Not Sure about heat stamping, heat stamping will leave an indentation in the plastic.
Tks. I had picked up a TTOS convention car for repainting and the CCB lettering had caused indentation. Had to sand it smooth to remove. I’ll check a few others to see if they feel the same.
