Hello, I was looking at this engine on "the tube" but could not find a video which plays the PFA. I saw that in the catalog that this engine was featured in, that there were "matching" streamlined passenger cars. This leads me to my question, does the mth niagara from 2000 have a freight PFA or a passenger PFA? If it has s passenger PFA, what train is it announcing? Thank you,

I can't speak for the old version. But there were four different Niagaras in the 2014 catalogue. Each may have different sound files. Mine is #20-3539 - Cab # 6014
" Now arriving from Chicago, Train #66 the Advanced Comodore Limited". "This stop is .....(Gary, Toledo, Buffalo, or Syracuse).
Nick, can't help as my original 5 volt board has been replaced with a 3 volt system. That said, regardless what it shipped with you can always download another sound file. Big advantage of MTH vs the others.

Norton, does that mean that you replaced the original sound file with a different one? I believe you can get those 5v sound files in 3v form under the "upgrade" sound file section.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought I recently saw a review of this engine in one Eric's Trains" videos here on the Forum.
