I am considering purchasing Mike's EP-3 but I am worried about overhang rounding curves. I don't have much clearance. The spec says it runs on 072 or larger. i have 072, 084 and 096 track. Does anyone know what overhang I can expect on each of these size tracks ?

I no longer have this engine to measure exactly, but here is a photo of it on O72 to give you some idea. It's really not bad compared to some other big engines. It should be no problem on the O84 and O96.

Here is a scale GG1 (same wheelbase and arrangement as the EP3) on Atlas O-84. Note that the G's body is longer the the EP3's so will overhang a bit more.
Thanks for the response. The overhang looks like a good 3 inches + on the GG! ? What size track is that ? The EP-3 photo look more like 1.5 inches ? What size track is that ? Thanks again !!
The EP-3 is on O72. As Dave said, the GG1 body is much longer - not a good comparison for the shorter EP-3.
