MTH Long Island VO 1000 Diesel Engine # 403 Will It Be Black Or Green? That Is The Question.

I know it's been said many times, many ways, is it black or green? There have been many threads on here about that. I think we all agree that the early Long Island Diesels were delivered by the builder in black with gold lettering, there may have been a few exceptions like the FMs and the 44 Tonner but, I am not sure. So why is MTH producing the 20-20787-1 Long Island VO1000 in green? I am hoping that it will be in black paint with gold lettering. Has anyone heard anything on this?
