Mth premier blue goose speaker problems

Hi all, when I sound the blue gooses whistle it makes a horrible vibrating sound. I thought maybe the speaker was not screwed in tight enough so I opened it up and tightened it.

Well that did not do anything so I am asking for suggestions on how to fix this.

Make sure nothing is attached magnetically to the speaker/speaker cone. Check that the metal is not flaking from the magnet. Both these things can cause distortion from the speaker. All the wiring in the tender should also be tidy. A loose wire vibrating against the speaker can cause distortion. If these do not apply, possibly the speaker is bad. I'm guessing that the other sounds are good? FWIW

That's the strange thing. The other sounds are fine. Just the whistle. And. Only when it's on the loudest which is how I prefer whistle volume.
