Question for those that run MTH PS3 locomotives in DCC, are they speed matched like they are under DCS? I ask because I'll have an O DCC layout and will buy new MTH locomotives as well as convert older conventional locomotives to DCC. I'll want to speed match all my locomotives and if MTH's already come speed matched, then I can just match my conversions to a MTH locomotive and save me a lot of hassle.

Yep, they are speed matched, and work great in consists.
The ones I have don't really run below speed step 3 though, and sometimes jump a little on startup as I ramp through steps 1 and 2. I don't have any DCS gear, so I don't know if this is typical, or just their behavior with DCC.
I have speed matched a loksound-equiped loco to a couple of my MTH diesels, and that works well also. You have to be a little careful about momentum, startup delays and so on - for example, the ESU decoders have an option to delay startup to sync it with the sounds. You will need to disable this to run them in a consist with the MTH engines.
Once you experience the low speed performance of the ESU decoders, though, you may rethink your plan of speed matching to the MTH locos...
I never understood the reason for a locomotive to be "creeping" along...the real ones dig in and get rolling at a pretty good speed in a fairly short amount of time. Even when crews are switching cars at various industries they go fast and get the job done. Dropping off cars on the fly is done at some fast speeds. Only time I ever seen engines creeping along is when doing hump work.
When folks state "I can run my trains at 12 ties per minute" I wonder why?? If the 1:1's tried that they'd be burning up traction motors.
@C. Jones, if you're going to just complain about how we run our trains instead of adding to the discussion of my question, please don't! It's off topic and hence against forum rules.
@Thor73, thanks for the reply. I figured they would be, but didn't want to assume. As for their low speed, that is typical for MTH locomotives under DCS. I would also be without DCS equipment as there isn't a need as long as I stick to PS3 locomotives. I've got one LokSound locomotive, and yes low speed is incredible. But I do like running MU's so speed matching would bring me more joy. At least the LokSound locomotives will have the low speed at 1 and 2. When I get to that point where I can work on speed matching I'll be back with all kinds of questions on how to do that.
In DCS they run together, in DCC I have two HO SD70ACe that are no where close to running at the same speed no matter what speed step I have them at.
