I have an MTH RailKing SD70ACe Imperial Diesel with a ditch light out. I opened up the unit and verified it is connected with no pinched or broken wires. I also swapped the connector with the other ditch light to be sure there is no electrical issue.
It is not outwardly apparent to me how these come out. Can anyone offer any advise on changing these out? This is a newer unit with LED ditch lights (30-20367-1).

I think but am not 100% sure, those use the tiny surface mount LED on a PCB style?

@Vernon Barry It does appear to be a surface mount like the part pic you attached. They just pull out? There is so little room where the wires pass between the body and hand rail that wraps under the body.

Yes, quite a pain to replace but that's been my experience.
I just replaced the ditch lights on a Lionel Legacy ES44AC, they were on tiny circuit boards with tiny SMT LED's. The wires were so small in order to fit the grooves I had to get some new #32 stranded wire to rewire them.
