Must be a lot of tardy boats on the waters - Slow Pre-Order arrivals

I have the 18" MTH Santa Fe (20-641XX) passenger cars on order.  Due last October.

Lionel PE Abandoned Toy, Hot Chocolate, UP Expansion (1927060) on order.  Due last month.

A couple of Lionel cars due in December.  I checked the shipping schedule last week.  It was not updated.

Seems dry out there for getting orders fulfilled.  Typical, or the new normal?
