Maiden Run Video: My new Lionel Union Pacific 50th Anniversary Limited Set

Unfortunately we don't see a lot of the passenger cars in the video.

Excellent!  Love the shot over the trestle.

The Lionel 50th Anniversary UP set looks spectacular on the large layout.  Really shows the length of this set.  I've always wanted this one, even bid on several, but it's never worked out.  Congrats on the new purchase.

Here's something you may not know-the cars in this set are unique.  The additional sale 15" UP cars weren't as nicely detailed as these cars.

I know.  I'm struggling to come up with a way to rig the camera up to capture both the engines and the passenger cars and still clear tunnels and bridges.  With time I hope to come up with some type of 'McGyver' style solution.  

That's cool... That's the only reason I still haven't bought a Go-Pro, because of its size. Not sure how I could mount it on a flat car, in the middle of a train, and still clear all the bridges and tunnels.

I think I'm gonna buy one of those Mobius cameras and try it.

It is a dream set.  The funny thing is I had no idea it existed until my forum friend made it available.  So it's not as if I had been looking for it, it just sort of dropped in my lap.  And I'm glad it did.  This is definitely a keeper.
