I don't know what went the other way but it sure looks like you made a good score.  And as far as the Pennsy items go, there is always re-paint.

I'm not going to put him on the spot- he'll chime in if he wishes...we both did good I think. This trading harkens back to my youth, where we traded all sorts of thing with each other...hot wheels, GIjoe stuff, tonka trucks...never trains though as I was the only one with those.

Out the yard doing track work ( re-ballasting )preparing for the new acquisitions and the internet is back up. I hear from my wife that the trade went off without a hitch. She enjoyed meeting you.

Horse trading is the way to go. It beats Ebay or direct selling in my book. Surprised there is not more of it here on the forum. A slight bummer waiting for her to return. I told her this morning..get that stuff done, stop gabbing and go to work!  Got to get some more chicken grit.

That K4...PS1...right? Trying to look up part numbers for needed parts...pass car truck/pantographs/ K4 drive gear pieces...this will keep me busy for a while!

Oh, and my son agrees- we need some peoples in the vista dome!

...wonder if I could swap in a 2 axle trailing truck for that K4...then I'd have a hudson chassis for my proposed Aeolus......hmmmmmm......need drive gear aquired 1st!

Yeah, it's PS1, I packed a BCR in there. Found some more bushings etc for the K4 in that box, will send them along. Send me your address by e-mail. I didn't want to mess with the domes and I thought the seats being filled with amputees might look..lets just say, a little too different. Theres some smaller seated folks that sell on Ebay that might work from China ( from some sweatshop I guess) that I have used in cases like that...you would think they would make the seats so wee folk could sit down..( maybe the prototype virus is afflicting me)

I still have that plastic Marx shell if you change your mind.

1 passenger car needs 2 wheels and a sideframe and it's good- MTH.

The steamer needs some TLC and is the kind of project I was looking for.

Cool, the GG-1 runs now...had a piece of grit in the gears letting it turn nearly 350 degrees around cept for that one lil spot.

I have an offer out on some passenger car trucks for MTH.  If they are the correct ones, I'll send you one.

I'll buy one from ya if they look like this type...but "complete"...or the parts to fix

I sent you the wrong car! I have two identical sets of these cars and in my rush to pack, I just picked up one of two cars without looking at it. When I saw your post, my reaction was of oh s--t. When the wife gets back, Ill send the right car..sorry abut that.

Anyway, when your wife gets home, you'll see that the majority of boxes have my name and addy is on them{handy used boxes}...one is for my son steven...he wanted to get something in the mail too{hehehe}, but its the same address.
