I was out today observing rail side details for my layout. I was taking pictures of electrical or relay cabinets and etc. While I was at a grade crossing in Bristol, IL, which is on the BNSF Transcon 45 miles west of Chicago, I saw an empty sand train waiting on the south main. Then what looked to me like a work train went around it on the crossover and passed me. There were two engines on the lead and a long train of TTX flats with some kind of cradles on them. Does anyone know what they had been carrying? I didn't count them, but would estimate 50 to 60 cars?
Thanks, Art
