I picked up this tender only at a show yesterday with the intention of putting the boards in another tender for the sounds only. The whistle, bell, talk and hissing sounds work fine. Is there an easy way to get the chuff to work. On the tether cable there is a black, red and violet wire. Since this tender has a coil coupler, I assume that the violet wire is for all data from the loco. The black and red appear to be track power. I was hoping that a chuff switch could be added to get it work. Any ideas from you experts?
