Need your help to find a Korber Union Ice kit....

Hi Everyone!!

Well, after trying on the WTB board, I thought I would see if anyone here has any suggestions.

I am looking for a Korber Union Ice kit. I just missed one at Trainz priced at a little under $50.00 new in the box. I looked at it and made a few measurements then went back to make my purchase and it was gone!! DARNED!! Anyway, I have searched all of the obvious places and can't seem to find one. Are there any of you that have one you don't plan on assembling and want to find it a new home?? Or....any suggestions other than the Atlas model. The Atlas ice house and loading facility don't work in the space I have...the Korber was just perfect...

You help is greatly appreciated!

Mark...I thought about doing as you suggested...I just thought perhaps curiosity would get more folks to take a look and then perhaps this would lead to more folks that would be able to help....sorry.

Just my opinion but, I think that most of the older, out of production Korber kits are crap. If you don't like the Atlas O kit, look into the Berkshire Valley Iceing platform and ice house kit, as it is truely the best on the market.

Actually, the Korber ice house kit wasn't "crap".... it was the first kit he made that used the modular walls for the building - I made mine as a building flat.... and the ice loading dock was a very nice kit..... I have one in storage built and one unbuilt, but there's no way I could find them..... they come up on ebay from time to time - set up a saved search there for one that will send you an email and I bet one pops up there before 2012 is past tense....
