I like it being all inclusive now by adding this but hope that the For Sale section will remain O and S.

This new "HONG Forum" is going to be a winner. I am a You Tube viewer & creator, with a small channel. I watch videos of N • OO • HO * O • G • along with rail-fanning and scale steam.

      These modelers also watch my channel. The most popular question is explaining what the 3rd rail does.  I tell these modelers, with 3rd rail, we never have an issue with a reverse loop causing an electrical short.

I bet you post in Z and Rich won't complain.  Your photo studies in any scale or rail are fine by me, and I'm guessing all other forum members.  Well, maybe with one or two exceptions.

Wait a minute...Haven't there been complaints on here about HO'ers/scalers talking down their noses about three rail AND O  (dunno what THEY hear from N scalers)..

but, is, wasn't Maerklin three rail?  Does this mean magazines with equally broader

spectra are going to follow?

Guys....the new forum is all inclusive....HO-N-G, and Other Scales...this is why we named it the way we did.  Do we really have to put all of the other sizes other than "O" in the name??..come on...  Please make this easy instead of hard....we are trying to do something good for everyone here...

   Actually it's a good move to support our entire hobby, as usual Rich and his staff have made the correct MGT decision.  Myself I will probably not add much to the different scale threads of the OGR, but then I was raised O and Standard Gauge and never had anything smaller.  Nice addition to the forum.

Your multi-scale advertisers will appreciate that! (FWIW: I had just joined an HO forum... but now we've got one here... so I'll be hanging around more after all... ain't you glad??? )

Sounds great!  Even though I've been consumed by O gauge railroading since getting bit by the train bug after a couple decade hiatus I haven't been able to let go of the HO stuff.

Since I don't really have a large space to dedicate a full scale O layout I've built, torn down, and plan to rebuild a compressed layout using the HO for "up the mountain" perspective.  

That said I usually learn something from OGaugerr no matter which forum I read!

Rich and Alan, this is a great thing for our hobby. Don't fret or indulge those whose mantra echoes, "My way or no way." Bravo for being all inclusive recognizing that regarding model railroading, "none of us knows everything but each of us knows something", and therefor all who participate in this great forum can (and if they keep an open mind) will learn and benefit from each others knowledge, experience and skills. United, model railroaders can only become stronger in the vast hobby industry!

That's a great idea!  While we a certainly understand that this is an O/S scale trains forum, it's nice to have someplace to see the other scales.
