New Forum Registration Dates - Suggestion

Good idea.

Kind of like the post count, I really don't care

I used to like the member date. Now it just reminds me that I'm getting old!

WOW, looking at cbojanower's comment on '02 guys being Newbies, I looked at my date .... Oct 7, 2002 ... scary, almost 10 years!!! I have made some good friends here over the years.

I like the idea of being born again.

Mine's wrong anyways. I joined almost 7 mos. earlier than mine says due to having to re-register, at the time, to change my user name. I don't think they mean much myself. New and old alike have a lot to share.

Not just for Elders anymore...

My son actually registered me initially[I had to re-register later also] because I had never used a computer and had to learn to type [again]. I was on a slow phone line so I just lurked and learned. Finally got up the nerve to post a question and quickly learned the culture of the Forum---many diverse, and occasionally disagreeable , answers to basic questions. But it has worked well, I learned a lot!

I like the registration date for purposes of the buy/sell forum. I am more comfortable dealing with a member that has been around at least a short time and making regular constructive posts than someone who just signed up and never contributes to the posts.
