I was lucky enough to get a Lionel Legacy B6sb for Christmas and it works perfectly. In the packaging there is a funnel, pipette, traction tire tool, and a small bag with 3 screws and a plastic part. Could someone tell what that small part is for. It is not in the book. Thanks and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

It is to insure that someone will ask you for a photo of it. j
The funnel and pipet are use for filling the engine with smoke fluid, the traction tool is for removing the bolts from the side rods so you can remove them to replace the traction tires, I thought everybody new that ? your lucky they use to not include the tool to remove the bolt and you had to buy it separately!

I wanted to know what the small part in the bag is for. Sorry for the confusion. I was hoping someone with a new B6sb would know.
Possibly for putting a scale coupler on the tender. Without seeing the parts this is only a guess but Lionel has been including that hardware recently.
