New to the forum and O gauge model railroading. Well, not that new, I did receive a Lionel Lines Steam set for Christmas back in 1968 and I don't know where the little fella has wandered off to and would love to locate another one. Three years ago I purchased a second home in a small town close to Foley, AL. After visiting the wonderful O Gauge model display they have there, I got hooked bad.
My first purchase was the Hogwarts Express and I set him up during the fall. I then purchased a 1995 O27 8913 Santa Fe Super Chief Set at a show in Foley not long after purchasing my retirement home. I've noticed here lately that the Super Chief was running not up to speed so I decided to open him up to see what was going on. Thanks to this forum, I learned how to take the cover and wheels off and did a little investigating. The plastic piece that one of the motors is attached to is cracked. I attached some pics with hopes that you folks would be able to point me to where I might find parts. I would like to convert this guy eventually to Electric RR. Is this possible? Will these motors work with the ERR boards? Thanks
