Anyone catch it on the Curve?
I was up about an hour after she went thru, so I was able to back it up enough to catch her. The ol girl looked Cold in the dark and snow.
Managed to catch the 757 at Williamsfield on US 322. Waited for roughly an hour. It was dark, cold, wet, and worth it. I mostly waited in my truck with a pepsi blanket until I heard the horn.
Nearly four years ago I witnessed the 765 pass through the same location three times when it was part of the NS steam program.
My video of the 757 leaves much to be desired. So I'll post a 765 photo at the same location.

Fantastic shot!!! I was at that spot back in 2015 as well for that same trip at 322.
As to 757 update, it's in Carson Yard as of 8:15PM.

Here's the YouTube video of it on Horseshoe Curve this morning.
Talk about a Ghost Train, Billy!!
Is there a man alive that wouldn't want to be in the "gig top" of that NKP caboose for that trip?
Any updates?

Sure did mean 757. Hard to break old habits. Thanks for the catch Jack.

Any idea as to what all of that "yellow stuff" on the front and sides of 757 is? I assume it's not surface rust.....?
Also, would the NS locomotive had to have used the Wye near there so that it could basically pull into Bellevue in reverse, drop off 757, and then head back out....without the 757 blocking its path?
Chromate primer showing through worn paint? The rust nearby suggests the top coat has failed.
Last summer was very humid in PA, as well as the past several years or more. In our house it gets unbearable since we don’t have central air, we live in an 1880’s house. We just have a window air unit downstairs and the upstairs becomes a sauna in June, July, August, and even September and October now. I actually enjoy the winters somewhat because at least it doesn’t get muggy and unbearable from November to April.
