Went to turn on layout & power on my TPC 3000 an all legacy engine respond with sound but no control an no control of switches can turn off with 990. Try to reprogram engines didn't help. Is there any reset of the PTC. I don't believe I change anything.

Is the Legacy command wire plugged in? Double check it. If you cycle the power do they act like they are in conventional mode? Does the whistle/horn work?
I check the power to the train master base green light is on & power to 990. When I turn on the TPC 3000 comm green is on & track green light blink @ 2 sec. When I apply power to the track the track green light blink fast 1 sec. comm green is off unless you turn the red knob. Engines sound like you command them to run all 5 of them. No bell or horn no control of anything but on & off. Thank for the help. Pete
I set up a test track, disconnect from the layout had the same problem with or without the TPC 3000. Disconnect the 990 an use my cab 1 no more problem. Must be the legacy base. Thank you for your help. Pete
Is the cab one base and the Legacy base both connected to the track? There should only be one wire running from the Legacy base to the Track, remove the cab one entirely
Also make sure the brake slider is not pulled down on the cab 2
Have you selected the correct engine ID on the cab 2 for the engine. ALso try selecting engine 99 with the cab 2 and see if any move
Layout work fine with the cab 1. I diconnect the cab 2, I had only one signal wirE. The slider is off. The problem was all engine would come on with sound an smoke but no other control. Pete
Any lights flash when you turn the knob?
