What was the first location in Rome?  Now that Fall is around the corner and cooler weather is coming, I'm due to get out trackside again and that looks like a decent spot to watch some trains.

That first location was actually in Dalton GA., which is north of Rome. 
I was shooting at the freight depot which is now the visitors center. There's a radio, ATCS monitor, and two mainlines (NS and CSX) through town. The two mainlines cross just past the depot on a diamond. 
This is also my personal favorite spot to just sit back at watch trains! Lots of great local resturants near by (I recommend the Oakwood Cafe on Cuyler street)
