Is there a way to get a notification when someone replies to my post using the "Reply with a quote" option ? Over on G Scale Central, as soon as I log in, I can see notifications of all those who have replied to one of my posts with the reply with a quote option.

Dan, when you log in on OGR if someone has replied to a thread that you are already part of there will be an alert. Right next to your User Name in the upper right hand corner you will see a red circle with a number in it indicating the number of alerts.
Click on the alert and it will take you to a short list of those threads and you can click on each one of those.
Use this reply as just such a test of your alert.
Not part of your question, but you can also set things in your profile to have an email sent to you when someone replies to your posts, threads or posts to a thread you are following. Just a FYI if you didn't already know that.
Dan, the short answer to your specific question is No, there is no way to limit notifications to only those replied to with quotes. I'm not sure why you'd want to do that though because so many reply, but don't use the Reply with Quote option, especially those who tend to use their phones.
But be aware, there is no distinction between alerts for a post you are following and whether you were quoted in the post. You have to read the alert or return to the thread to see if that happened.

Rob hit the nail right on the head. I know about the alerts and check them each time I log in. It would be nice, however, to learn when one of my posts has been quoted.
