Hello, can someone ID this coupler. I'd like to find the missing plunger and make it operational.

That looks like an AMT car and coupler. I don't know of any sources for parts other than buying another AMT car and cannibalizing it. I'm sure someone else will chime in with other thoughts.

If memory serves me correctly, the uncoupling mechanism will not work with the Lionel uncoupling system. I believe the AMT system was called Lift-a-matic.

Thanks for the info. No sense fixing it if it's incompatible, so I converted them with some PW coupler bases.
