trains magazine had a feature story on the bellevue expansion early this year. if i read correctly ,elkhart was to be cut back on classification and become little more than a fuel stop and crew change point for most of the stack and van trains. heard from some one ns wants to build something like csx has in new/baltimore,oh. could be elkhart is being looked at for that.
i dont know where conway fits in all of this,their work may transfer to bellevue,but never say never in this business.-jim
