OGRR Forum App?

I read it just fine on a smart Motorola phone.

There is no app for this forum. There never was. This site is viewable in your web browser just like any other web site.

We used to have an app for the Digital Editions, but we changed subscription management companies and no longer need an app for that. It's part of the subscription setup now.

That interesting.  Since the day I signed up three years ago, I've used the OGR Digital app on my iPhone to access the forum and all things OGR.  I'm a dinosaur and didn't even know it.

I guess I should’ve clarified more in my original response. I was talking about an app for the digital library. I just signed up for it last night and was curious if there was one or not.

I don't know what you were doing, but there never was an "app" for this forum our the OGR Web site. They are just web sites visible in a web browser.

It's not that, "...it’s not available anymore..."  The point is that it is not NEEDED any more.

That app posed a problem for a lot of people, and the company that developed it was not inclined to make the changes and improvements we wanted in it. We were glad to get rid of it.

That old app was only for reading the digital editions of the magazine. It is no longer active and current. The most recent issue there is about a year old.

You should delete it.

Except your DCS remote still works. This old app does not.

I only use it to look at the forum.  That's why I never noticed the digital subscription wasn't updated.  So it works for that but point taken.

That app has nothing to do with the forum. How do you look at the forum via that app? I don't understand that.

And...that app is going to disappear soon. In fact, I'm surprised it is still up and running.

Here you go.  Here's what I see when I click on the app.  Down in the bottom left corner, I circled in red where I click "website"

Then I click this box on the right...

Then "OGR FORUM" at the bottom...

Then this box on the top left...

Then "Home"...

Then "All Topics"...

That is a terribly convoluted way to get to this forum. And it is a method that soon will no longer work.

Just set a bookmark in your web browser for "ogrforum.ogaugerr.com" and you'll be set for the future, after that app disappears. You can even set that URL to be an icon on your home screen, if you wish.

I don't close the app so I don't do all of that every time.  I'm not selling my method!  You asked.  But yes, will do.

Wow that's a lot of work.

It's really not.  Again, I don't close the app.  So when I hit the button, I'm in OGR forum.
