WOW!

The wheel profile makes the engine look even bigger. When I look at the real one, it's like it's standing on disks. Some toy train manufacturer's wheel profiles, leave a lot to be desired.

Flange size is one thing. The overall profile could be much better.  Look at those Overland ones!! They are much better than I've seen.

Dump a little sand on the rails and add some diesel smell and you're there!

 On page 72-73 of March Trains mag, there is a picture of a meet between 3 GE diesels of a BNSF oil train holding the siding while Amtrak #5 passes.

I admire many steam engines and the "best picture you've taken" post shows much talent. My love for diesels shows me that I prefer that contrasting shot in the Trains mag. The muscle of the diesels waiting for their turn on the main against the white sterile backdrop of winter.

 So you showing this Overland SD70ACe demo makes my day. I really think Overland should have stuck with O a little longer. Maybe someday they'll come back?

They're really setting the bar and leaving me hanging!

(PS. maybe take some rubber tubing and connect those sand lines! )
