I love commuter operations!! Especially love running my NJ Transit train cab car forward.
Those are two beautiful trains, Winston. I love the shovel nose Santa Fe.

Ron,
That is a gorgeous passenger train! What engine(s) do you typically run with it?

Thank you, but not as nice as FJI's. Really impressed with the interior work.
My layout is set in the very late 40s, so I have:
- Lionel Baldwin Centipedes (both engines powered with sound)
- Weaver Baldwin Passenger Sharks AB (both engines powered with sound)
- Lionel EMD E7 ABA (all engines powered with sound)
- I could also use my double headed Lionel K4s or Lionel T1. I normally use these for secondary trains (heavyweights) or express/mail trains.
Got home and added the photos

Ironically, mine seems to prefer freight to the silver series coaches I own, lol!
Ron Thanks for the compliment I find detailing the interiors of my passenger cars to be one of the most rewarding parts of the hobby

If I ever get around to connecting the loop I will have enough track for those passenger trains. Right now they will drop 45" to a concrete floor.
Really need to put that Mianne lift bridge together so I can run these.
EEEEKS!!

Well, I am still experimenting with posting video's. So here is , I hope, a video of my Lionel NYC F-3 A-B-A # 2344 from 1950-1952 pulling some much newer small streamlined cars. Short video to accommodate moving the file via e-mail from my phone to my computer. Regards Don.

Don,
Absolutely gorgeous!! I am a huge NYC fan but I still need to get a set of F-3s. You have inspired me to post a video or two (later this week) of my NYC F-7s pulling some streamlined cars!
On the topic of uploading videos and the OGR forum: I plug my phone directly into my computer so I can transfer all my video and images directly and not have to worry about being capped from the limited amount of data an email can store.
All the best,
Bryce

I like your bridge. I hadn’t thought of that. I might incorporate that idea into our layout. Thank you for sharing.

Bryce. Thanks for the video tip I will try that. Thanks also for the compliment on my NYC F-3. In regards to your desire to acquire. My advice is be patient. Mine are the early “chicken wire” shells so the period between finding the “B” unit and the A-A units ( at prices I could afford) was nearly 20 years !!
Regards and thanks for leading this thread
