Logging onto the forums, a few minutes ago, the two boxes that are normally filled in automatically with my email and password would not fill in on their own. So I typed my email and password in. I got the message that my password was incorrect. I haven't changed my password since I joined the forum.
Anyway, I had to go through the process of making up a new password. Not an earth shattering experience, but I wonder what happened.

Dan, Some thoughts:
Check your browser settings to determine if anything has changed. Browser settings can accidentally change and remove autofill - they do this when I accidentally "fat finger" the keyboard.
Have you run an anti-virus and or any disk cleanup program, i.e. Wise disk cleaner; Wise Registry Cleaner or any program similar to these? Some of these programs have a default to remove stored password settings. Have you changed browsers; i.e. Chrome to Firefox; IE10 to Microsoft Edge?
Autofill password is normally a function of your browser.

Give that man a cigar! This is a local browser issue, not something related to the forum.
I'll bet if you go to another site that requires a login, your browser won't remember those credentials either. This has happened to me a few times, usually after an "update."
LastPass is your friend.
