Plant City Viewing Platform vs. Jacksonville for train watching

Usually over the summer I at least do one day of train watching. Last summer I went up Jacksonville and took some pictures along the St. John's River near the FEC bridge. I saw a decent variety of equipment in a few hour period. I know a new viewing platform in Plant City just opened a few months ago and I was thinking about going to it. Is it worth the 2 hour drive to see it. How many trains go through Plant City in a day?
